Book Haul: January - June 2025

As far as I remember, I was on a “no-buy ban,” but with my love for reading coming back, I ended up buying more books—without holding back.

I didn’t realize how many books I had at home until I took the photos for this post. Honestly, I went overboard.

The downside is that I still had unread books pending. But I don’t feel bad about going overboard, since it’s a hobby I’ve had for a long time and a little treat I give myself every paycheck.
Besides, most of my books are second-hand.

  1.  Daisy Joanes and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
  2. Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
  3. Love Letter to the Dead by Dellaira
  4. Trilogía Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
  5. Iron and Embers by Helen Scheuerer
  6. Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
  7. Watermoon by Samantha Sotto Yambao

  1. Court of the Vampire Queen by Katee Robert
  2. Belladonna by Adalyn Grace
  3. The Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gillig
  4. Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid
  5. Bury our Bones in the Midnight Soil by  V.E. Schwab
  6. Cat's People by Tanya Guerrero
  7. Beach Read by Emily Henry

"Infernal Devices" by Cassandra Clare

  1. Harry Potter and the Sorcere's Stone by J.K. Rowling
  2. City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
  3. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
  4. City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
  5. City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
  6. City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
  7. City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

The Count of Monte Cristo

At the very least, it seems like there will be no excuse not to have content for the blog.
I think the only rule I’ll set for myself is to keep saving $10 for every book I read and only buy books that are for my book club (if it's necessary to buy them).
