As far as I remember, I was on a “no-buy ban,” but with my love for reading coming back, I ended up buying more books—without holding back.
I didn’t realize how many books I had at home until I took the photos for this post. Honestly, I went overboard.
The downside is that I still had unread books pending. But I don’t feel bad about going overboard, since it’s a hobby I’ve had for a long time and a little treat I give myself every paycheck.
Besides, most of my books are second-hand.
- Daisy Joanes and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
- Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
- Love Letter to the Dead by Dellaira
- Trilogía Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
- Iron and Embers by Helen Scheuerer
- Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
- Watermoon by Samantha Sotto Yambao
- Court of the Vampire Queen by Katee Robert
- Belladonna by Adalyn Grace
- The Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gillig
- Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid
- Bury our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab
- Cat's People by Tanya Guerrero
- Beach Read by Emily Henry
"Infernal Devices" by Cassandra Clare
- Harry Potter and the Sorcere's Stone by J.K. Rowling
- City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
- City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
- City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
- City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
- City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
- City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare
At the very least, it seems like there will be no excuse not to have content for the blog.
I think the only rule I’ll set for myself is to keep saving $10 for every book I read and only buy books that are for my book club (if it's necessary to buy them).
